Films For Peace presents: "The Power of Community: How Cuba Survived Peak Oil" The goal of this film is to give hope to the developed world as it wakes up to the consequences of being hooked on oil, and to lift Americans' prejudice towards Cuba by showing the Cuban people as they are. It's a story of their triumph over adversity, and a story of cooperation and hope. FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 7 PM CAFE BOLIVAR 1741 Ocean Park Blvd. Santa Monica, CA 90405 (on Ocean Park Blvd. at the NW corner of 18th St.) This cafe has astonishingly good food!
