Thursday, September 21 is the kick-off date for the national week of
action supporting the Declaration of Peace campaign. Voters across the
country are urging their Represntatives to call for a withdrawal plan -
and to end support for any legislation that maintains the US military
presence in Iraq.
Please join CODEPINK LA as we take the message to Senator Feinstein's
office!

I know we are all on overload with all the things going on, a lot of
political activism is needed before the election, and we still have to
make a living and take care of our families. And yet, I invite you to
join me and millions of people around the world, to commemorate the
International Day of Peace, established by the U.N., first celebrated in
1982.

many wise teachers say, only that which we envision can become a
reality.
I invite you, for the day of September 21st, to envision
PEACE.
And join me next Thursday, September 21 for an hour – 7pm – 8 pm
At the corner of Ventura and Van Nuys Blvds.
With candles and Pro Peace signs.
With instruments and voices.
Let’s add to the vibration of Peace around the world – Over 3500 events
in 183 countries have been scheduled!
