"Helen's War: Portrait of a Dissident"

Where: Laemmle Theatre ~ 1332 Second Street, Santa Monica

Los Angeles premiere and benefit screening of "Helen's War: Portrait of
a Dissident" a film by Anna Broinowski

The leading spokesperson for the anti-nuclear movement, Dr. Helen
Caldicott will speak after the screening the Dendy Award-winning
documentary and discuss her latest book, Nuclear Power is Not the
Answer. Dr. Caldicott is a founder of Physicians for Social
Responsibility, Women's Action for New Direction and the Nuclear Policy
Research Institute. She is taking-on the myth that nuclear-powered
electricity is "clean and green."

Admission:
General admission is $25 per person ($20 tax-deductible)
The Peace Supporter ticket ~ at $75 ~ includes preferential theater
seating, a signed copy of Nuclear Power is Not the Answer and admittance
to the pre-event reception ($65 tax-deductible)
