Robert Fisk and Amy Goodman will give the keynote speeches at Saturday's
convention of the Muslim Public Affairs Council in Long Beach. The
convention's theme is "Reform, Relevance and Renewal: Understanding
Islam for the Future. "Robert Fisk is the highly regarded, Beirut-based
Middle East correspondent for London's The Independent. His most recent
book is The Great War for Civilization, a truly monumental work. Amy
Goodman is the host and executive producer of Democracy Now!. She is
co-author of the national best-seller STATIC, written with her brother
David Goodman.  4:30-5:45PM
