Dear Friends and Colleagues, Please let me know if you are available this month to help reach out to our ever growing homeless population. Homeless Outreach - Saturday January 13th [past event...] Help Count the Homeless -January 23rd, 24th and 25th Poverty Matters is teaming up with the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority to Count the Homeless in Los Angeles County. 1500 volunteers are needed to participate in the largest homeless census count in the United States. To be part of this important project, please go to www.lahsa.org and click on the "Sign up Now" button. Please e-mail us at [EMAIL PROTECTED] after you sign up for the Count the Homeless project to receive a special recognition from our organization. Or get involved in one of our many other community programs to help empower underprivileged communities.
