This Wednesday, August 8, 6-8 PM, there will be a talk and Power Point presentation on the Spanish Civil War, presented by Professor Maria Dolores Costa of the CSULA Spanish Department. Title: "Silence, Memory and the Spanish Civil War." Location: The Golden Eagle Ballroom, 3rd floor of the Golden Eagle building at Cal State L.A.
The talk will be followed by a special performance by Hector Marques and the Xochisoneros, performing songs of the Spanish Civil War. Directions: CSULA is located at the intersection of the 10 and 710 freeways. The Golden Eagle building is located in the middle of the campus, on the main walkway opposite the library.
