This is the story of how Cole Miller, founder of No More Victims: HYPERLINK "http://www.nomorevictims.org/"www.nomorevictims.org - brought Salee Allawee, a 9-year old Iraqi girl to the United States to receive medical treatment. Salee lost both of her legs when a U.S. bomb landed in her yard as she was playing hopscotch, killing her 13-year old brother Akram and a close friend of Salee's, blowing both of them to bits right in front of her. Cole enlisted the help of Upstate Coalition of Compassion, a nonprofit organization from South Carolina, who helped him in this process of bringing Salee to the U.S. and arranging for medical treatment for her at the Shriners Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina. Please go to Cole's web site: HYPERLINK "http://www.nomorevictims.org/"www.nomorevictims.org - to see a 4-minute video about Salee and other videos about the work Cole has been doing. Take a look at the No More Victims video at the top of Cole's web site. It is 15-minutes long and is narrated by Peter Coyote. You can buy a copy of it from Cole or from me. It is a great video to show to anyone. Please think about making a donation to No More Victims to help Cole bring more war injured Iraqi children to the U.S. for medical treatment. Also consider getting involved with Cole in helping him to bring one of these children to your city. You can reach Cole at: HYPERLINK "mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]"[EMAIL PROTECTED] or: HYPERLINK "mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]"[EMAIL PROTECTED] - Phone: 323-644-2889 Checks can be sent to: The International Humanities Center P.O. Box 923 Malibu, CA 90265 Please be sure to make the check payable to IHCenter / No More Victims so that the funds are allocated correctly. Or you can donate on line at: HYPERLINK "http://nomorevictims.org/donate.php"http://nomorevictims.org/donate.php Cole has been getting a lot of television and newspaper coverage from the mainstream media with these stories about the war-injured Iraqi children he has brought to the United States. When he says on the TV News that these injuries are the result of U.S. collateral damage, the anchors and journalists do not censor him or cut him off. Instead, they actually repeat the words Cole has just said. He is not only helping these beautiful Iraqi children and their families, but he is getting our anti-war message into the mainstream of this country. Get a copy of Cole's NO MORE VICTIMS DVD and show it to everyone you know. Most people will be very effected by this film. I do have DVD copies if you are interested.
