The next meeting of the planning committee for the Peoples Justice Conference, linking issues of police terror, mass incarceration, political prisoners and the death penalty will take place this Saturday, April 23 at 12:00 noon at the Southern California Library for Social Studies and Research, 6120 S. Vermont between Slauson and Gage. Meetings are also tentatively scheduled the following Saturdays at the same time and place, although Friday evening meetings are also a possibility depending on people's schedules. The conference itself will take place Saturday May 14 and Sunday May 15 at Los Angeles Trade Technical College, 400 W. Washington Blvd. at Grand Ave just south of downtown L.A. in the cafeteria and associated classrooms.
