For those of you who couldn't join us, I introduced our new Regional Marketing Director Daniela Meltzer and we received some great ideas for programming and promotions. Daniela sits on the board of Amazon Watch and is a native Angeleno as well a Colombian-American. We're very excited to have her direct our Los Angeles Green Festival marketing efforts! Several people requested that I send an email to share with friends, colleagues and your extended community so they can learn about the Green Festival and discover how they'd like to get involved. This involvement includes exhibitors, helping with outreach, speaking on a panel, volunteering, becoming a nonprofit ally and attending the festival itself. Attached please find a document to read and share with others. There's a lot of information as well as ways to get in touch with our team. I'm attaching a PDF as well as a Word document so you can add a personal introduction if you want. Please let me know if you have any questions! NEXT HOST COMMITTEE MEETING Our next meeting will focus on two areas: Mass Transit (to determine how to make it easier for low-income or car-free folks to get to the Convention Center) and Marketing (it's time to build our street teams!).
