Buttu is a Palestinian-Canadian lawyer and former spokesperson for the
Palestine Liberation Organization. She was a legal adviser and
negotiator on peace negotiations between Israeli and Palestinian
organizations. She has appeared numerous times in the American news
media including TV networks such asFox News, CBS, and MSNBC, and
newspapers including USAToday and other outlets.
