Occupy LA

WE ARE OCCUPYING LOS ANGELES DAY 9

Los Angeles City Hall

200 N. Spring Street, Los Angeles 90012

Dear Friends,

Occupy LA is happening big-time at Los Angeles City Hall. I spent most of
the day there yesterday.

It is an incredible thing to experience! It seemed like thousands of people
were there.

It is really organized well. People of all ages races and backgrounds are
there.

They are protesting the wars, no jobs, homelessness, environment concerns &
much more.

They are calling for an end of the reality where 1% of bankers, corporations
& government elites

in this country, control 99% of the rest of us. They want true democracy for
everyone.

KPFK is there broadcasting and filming. I saw so many people I know from the
anti-war peace movement.

Danny Glover, Margaret Prescod, Tom Morello, Michelle Shocked, Keith
Olbermann & many others spoke and sang.

If you can, go to City Hall today or any day this week to experience and be
part of this incredible happening.

>From what I hear, the police have been friendly & supportive.

And the LA City Council is going to vote in support of the Occupation this
Tuesday at City Hall.

I gave away a box of ADDICTED To WAR books (60) to people I met, all who
were interested.

I'll be going back to LA City Hall as many times as I can. I think this is
something really big happening!

In Peace & Solidarity,

Frank Dorrel

We Are Leaderless. We Are Nonviolent. We Will Not Be Silent.

People of Los Angeles, we will occupy our city for the 99% of the world, for
a democracy, not a corporatocracy.

Almost 50 million Americans are living below the poverty line. People have
lost their jobs, homes and hope for the future.

And almost all profits from economic growth have gone to the richest 1%.
