Comrades, Watching his show today on Fox News Channel, for the first15 minutes O'Reilly editorialized on a purported tendency to violence amongst members of the occupation movements. The show repeats at 8PM PDT and 2AM PDT
He also hinted that the occupation movements world-wide are connected and making connections. In this case, the right (O'Reilly) is making propaganda of what we need to do. We must make those connections locally, nationally and world-wide. He also called for a zero tolerance of 'unlawful' acts really a la the "Broken Windows" approach of Police Chiel Wm Bratton when he was in NYC in the 1990s. This is an attempt at a set-up. This is dangerous. This is media already attributing to us what we need to have and that is the ability to defend ourselves. O'Reilly, in particular, named the protestors in Oakland as Dangerous. The FBI's Co-intelpro program used the same methodology to destroy the Black Panther party in the 60s-early 70s. Emphasize the self-defence aspect of mass organizations, turn the organization into a haunting specter of potential violence, and then wade in with superior firepower. This has to be seen. It will probably be streamed on his website tomorrow. For a taste of this fascist rhetoric see this from his program from yesterday: October 20, 2011 Is 'Occupy Wall Street' Really About Anti-Capitalism? http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/oreilly/index.html#/v/1229651590001/is-occupy-wall-street-really-about-anti-capitalism/?playlist_id=86923 JAI RAC-LA https://lists.riseup.net/www/admin/newplanet-newlives http://revolutionaryautonomouscommunities.blogspot.com/ http://www.pmpress.org/content/article.php?story=JohnAImani [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ --------------------------------------------------------------------------- LAAMN: Los Angeles Alternative Media Network --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe: <mailto:[email protected]> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe: <mailto:[email protected]> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Digest: <mailto:[email protected]> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Help: <mailto:[email protected]?subject=laamn> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post: <mailto:[email protected]> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Archive1: <http://www.egroups.com/messages/laamn> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Archive2: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yahoo!
