Just left. got there 11 and 15-16 cops but kids already out of library. Cops promised (for what that's worth) to 'negotiate' with them. In a sense a victory in that they did not attempt a forced removal.
Brilliant move to reclaim vital neighborhood institution. Stayed until most of cops left. Kids were awaiting results from their 'negotiating' team.
