One more reason the Far Right has been running as far to the right as possible.... to make sure Obama doesn't over take them, while ensuring those who paid for his last election, get the maximum PROFIT for their investments, before he has to leave office?
This blows a lot of defenders of the mythical anti War Obama, outta the water. The Republicans did not make him do this... I repeat, this is not a drill, the Republicans did not make Obama do this. The Main Stream media will also not likely carry this... of course, they are Corporate enterprises that benefit from Federal government protection of their Monopolies also. I'm forwarding this in the manner that Deborah, the original poster, and owner of the web site link, approved. The comments above, are of course mine. As I cannot afford to pay for a subscription, I limit myself to clicking through on articles for which I can find no other source. President Barack Obama made an unannounced visit to Kabul to put pen to a deal on keeping US forces in the country until 2024 http://link.ft.com/r/WDI4RR/30RFC7/18045M/DWF5FV/DWGC5B/FW/h?a1=2012&a2=5&a3=2 I didn't believe it either. But as usual I did my own damn research. The complete text of the agreement states<http://www.whitehouse.gov/sites/default/files/2012.06.01u.s.-afghanistanspasignedtext.pdf>that it will remain in force until 2024. See Page 9 of 9. That fact is conveniently omitted from the White House Press Briefing Sheet<http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2012/05/01/fact-sheet-us-afghanistan-strategic-partnership-agreement> . Whoa.
