Dear Romi,
RSVP for the Nuclear Famine webinar.
PSR and IPPNW released a new report on Tuesday, April 24th on the global
health consequences of even a limited nuclear war between India and
Pakistan. The report, titled "Nuclear Famine: A Billion People at Risk"
quickly spread worldwide with over 120 press hits including CNN, the
Washington Times, and a number of the largest publications in South
Asia. Last week Dr. Ira Helfand, PSR Board Member and author of the
report, co-hosted a Congressional Briefing with Rep. Jim McGovern to
educate lawmakers on the grave consequences of inaction on nuclear
disarmament.

Now is your chance to hear directly from Dr. Helfand about the findings and
their implications for nuclear policy.

Please join us for special webinar on this important report that will take
place on

Thursday, May 10th at 8:30 PM Eastern.

RSVP here.

If
you haven’t yet joined one of our webinars, please try to make this
one.  This new technology allows you to go beyond the restraints of
typical conference calls to actually see the presenter's computer
screen.  It is as close to being in the room as possible -- without the
carbon footprint of travel.

Sincerely,

Catherine Thomasson, MD
Executive Director
