Some of the many causes she has worked on include fair housing, abortion rights, and antiwar activities. As a peace delegate, Hedy has journeyed to Guatemala, Nicaragua, Cambodia and has visited the Israeli Occupied West Bank five times since 2003, to witness the facts on the ground for herself. She has taken what she learned on those trips to write articles and speak publicly to share her experiences with audiences both nationally and internationally. She has participated in non-violent demonstrations, together with Israelis, Palestinians & other international activists, in opposition to Israel's occupation of Palestinian land, the 25-foot high cement separation wall, and the demolition of Palestinian homes and olive orchards. Please come join us to hear about Hedy's amazing life-- her background and experiences including her five trips to the Israeli Occupied West Band and her five (that's right!) five failed attempts to reach Gaza.
