The Alberto Lovera Bolivarian Circle of NY and the American Indian Community House invite you to join Noeli Pocaterra and other Indigenous leaders for a ceremony this Tuesday in the American Indian Community House dedicated to health of president Chavez.
Noeli is an Indigenous leader from the Wayu tribe of the state of Zulia, Venezuela. She has served as the vice-president of Venezuela's National Assembly. She is General Coordinator of the National Indigenous Council of Venezuela. For more than 40 years she has worked tirelessly in defense of the rights of indigenous peoples. We are inviting the entire Indigenous community to bring their languages, their music, their drums, their prayers, and also the spirits of their ancestors and all the forces of Mother Nature for the fast and speedy recovery of President Chavez. Everyone is welcome at this event.
