Pageler This dark and tragic chapter in America’s history, nevertheless produced American heroes. One of those heroes is Donald Pageler, who was wounded while rescuing his shipmates. As a classified communications specialist, Don was on board the Liberty during the entire course of repeated attacks by Israeli Air and Naval Forces on the high seas. Don will share with us his own eyewitness account of those tragic events. He will also discuss some of the aftermath and lingering effects of this low point in American-Israeli relations.
