On Sunday March 10th, hundreds of activists of various nationalities and ethnic and religious backgrounds, took to the streets of the city of San Francisco to honor the memory of Commander Hugo Chavez. Under the moderation of Carolina Morales activist Venezuela for Human Rights, representatives of the Coalition of Solidarity with Latin America in the Bay Area (Bay Area Latin America Solidarity Coalition - Balasc), Workforce for The Americas Marin County (Marin Task Force on the Americas - MITFA), FMLN Northern California, Action Committee on Haiti (Haiti Action Committee)and many groups and individuals who stressed the importance of the struggle led by Chavez and the need for its continuation after his departure. The march is part of the various activities, forums, chat radio and television, which have been performed in San Francisco and surrounding cities such as Berkeley, Oakland and San Rafael, to highlight the legacy of Chávez and counter the campaign to discredit His image and fight.
