The trouble with Whole Foods, and Trader Joes, I don't know how many other
places, is they ask their suppliers who make their store brand stuff if
they are using GMO, but those suppliers are not required to ask or show
proof that those they get their supplies from, are GMO Free.

It's a wonderful lawyer Authoritative tactic used on us every time a
Corporate gets irritated that we'd demand to have some control or even
knowledge about the safety over what we want to buy much less put in our
bodies. Your expected to think the best, but it doesn't state that the
whole food product line is safe and checked back to how it is grown, only
that they have told their suppliers to not add GMO.

Magic words combined with you looking for what you want to hear, is the
most powerful instruction around. The Authority says they've investigated
themselves, it's OK to proceed as usual.

If it is processed, and it isn't Organic GMO Free certified, I'd not trust
anything, much less trust processed foods, they are all a gamble.
