Don White left us forever to an unknown place onJune 19th, 2008. I could say many things about Don that would maketo revive again my pain and sorrow remembering him, and so I am sure it wouldbe to all his friends who loved him. Besides of the very important facetsthat can be said about Don White there is a particular one we can never forgetas is his most eloquent phone greeting he had in his phone recorded voice : “peace and justice here at home and around the world “. However, I must mentionto all of you in case you didn't know that Don led us themembers of the “Late Amnesty Movement in Action” (LAMA) to Congress and to theWhite House as well as to the 9th. Circuit Court in San Francisco inpursuit of the legalization solution of our legal limbo which we finallyreached after many years of struggle on Dec. 21, 2000 whenBill Clinton signed into law the “Legal Immigration Family Equity (LIFE) Act”. Don White was also amember of the Bolivarian Circle of Los Angeles “Ezequiél Zamora” and togetherwith him we started to raise awareness about the Bolivarian revolution processthat was taking place in my country under the leadership of the greatest “Comandante” Hugo Rafaél Chávez Frías.
