Yeah I wrapped up a first version of droids and will start work on trunk
again end of this year.

I will replace the nutch infrastructure code with spring to make droids
simpler and more standard like.

Otis as well wrote me the other day asking about droids and I can repeat
what I told him: any help is welcome.

Regarding [2] it is very interesting indeed for droids to become part of
HttpComponents. I want to rewrite the code to use spring instead of the
underlying slimed down version of nutch plugins infrastructure code to
make it more standard and understandable.

After this rewrite I gladly see droids incubating with HttpComponents as
sponsor project."

Yeah for now since I expect the plugins infrastructure to be quite
stable.

I will be away for a week but after this week I will fill the trunk
again with the refactored code.

Thanks everybody to express interest in droids.
