Do you know to program (and understand code) in Java? How much experience do you have with Spring? You would need to have some experience in working on Java projects since Droids and the httpclient is based 100% in java. Meaning if you never have worked with Java in your life it may be too difficult. http://wiki.apache.org/general/SummerOfCode2008#labsdroids-httpclient-protocol "Droids has a rudiment protocol implementation. Apache HttpClient however is dedicated to connect to different protocols. There should be written different protocol plugins (at least http and https) as part of GSOC." I am not sure whether you are not too late: http://wiki.apache.org/general/SummerOfCodeMentor March 31st - Deadline for student applications salu2 > > Sergey Otmorskiy. > > P.S.
