Hi Bernd, what would really help is to have the persistence infrastructure up and running. because otherwise you have to put a lot of //TODO: fetch contacts that meet xy criteria in the code, which makes it feel incomplete and not much fun to work with :/
i have the first few bullets of RFC3921bis-04#3 (Managing Presence Subscription) somehow together. if you want, you can start with #4 (Exchanging Presence Information). And yes, it is a big beast.
