Why don't you just do your own non-ASF, non-PMC-ratified releases? Hey, this is ASL'ed software, you can do with it whatever you like. This can't be the way Labs have to be killed when they get mature. I'd much rather see JaxMas to live on as an Apache Lab and eventually raise the interest it deserves.
