IMO the biggest automotive morons (and they are restricted to cars) are what
I call 'Poole Pillocks' who have a sound system fitted to their car whose
volume is more suited to an aircraft hangar. I have a T-junction outside my
house where they frequently have to wait for a gap in the traffic to turn
into the road almost opposite my bungalow, and the booming from the base on
their stereo systems almost makes the bungalow shake. They have to have the
windows of the car open for maximum effect, of course.

It's illegal, but the law's not enforced.

On the occasions when I've asked one of these moron's (usually male) when
they actually went deaf, I've had very rude replies - that is from those who
hadn't gone deaf already.
