i read in an advertisment for a home remedy book that using dial soap will work at getting rid of deer. maybe to melt a bar in an old pot with 4 quarts of water and then spill it around the garden area would do. i have aslo heard that human urine will scare them away, and i have heard of that more than twice, so it must work.
