<g> Could it, possibly, be because when you "cruise" E-Bay, you use "lacemaking" as your key-word? Then, also, if you have an item to sell, and no idea what it might be, except: "possibly? textile-related?"... the more abstruse the branch you can tie it to, the more mystique accumulates and, by extension, more coin-clinking... :)
