and what do frogs say in other countries ?

I couldn't remember to save my life, so I asked *all* my Polish-based friends (afterall, they're all on my joke list; they *owe* me <g>). Here are the results:

Zaba mowi (frog says) "kum, kum"
kon (horse) "ihaha"
kaczka (duck) "kwa, kwa"
ges (goose) "ge, ge"
ptaszki (birds) "cwir, cwir"
krowa (cow) "muuu, muuu"
kot (cat) "miau, miau"
pies (dog) "hau, hau"
golab (pidgeon) "gru, gru"
bocian (stork) "kle, kle"
a ja (and I) "bye, bye."

I did remember that a rooster said "kukuryku"; that's why it's not included among the other animal sounds :)
