here frogs go
croa croa ( if i remember right. i'm never sure whether they go croa or coa
. seems to me crows go coa but well ....)
and what do frogs say in other countries ?
I couldn't remember to save my life, so I asked *all* my Polish-based friends (afterall, they're all on my joke list; they *owe* me <g>). Here are the results:
Zaba mowi (frog says) "kum, kum" kon (horse) "ihaha" kaczka (duck) "kwa, kwa" ges (goose) "ge, ge" ptaszki (birds) "cwir, cwir" krowa (cow) "muuu, muuu" kot (cat) "miau, miau" pies (dog) "hau, hau" golab (pidgeon) "gru, gru" bocian (stork) "kle, kle" a ja (and I) "bye, bye."
I did remember that a rooster said "kukuryku"; that's why it's not included among the other animal sounds :)
