The lace shop in King-street, occupied by Mr. BROWN, took fire on Friday,
and
some mischief was occasioned. The shop is warmed by an iron stove, from
which
the smoke ascends through a flue of sheet-iron, and the heat ignited some
wood work adjacent, which gave rise to the disaster. The damages were not
great.
