YARMOUTH The lace shop in King-street, occupied by Mr. BROWN, took fire on Friday, and some mischief was occasioned. The shop is warmed by an iron stove, from which the smoke ascends through a flue of sheet-iron, and the heat ignited some wood work adjacent, which gave rise to the disaster. The damages were not great. ============================================================== Regards, Ann McClean [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "The surest sign that there is intelligent life in the Universe is that they have NOT tried to contact us" - Calvin & Hobbes To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace-chat [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
