On Shrove Tuesday (traditional pancake day in the UK to use up fat and eggs - rich ingredients - before Lent), large thinnish pancakes are traditionally served with sugar sprinkled and lemon squeezed over them, and then they're rolled up into a tube before having mouthfulls cut off with a fork and straight into the mouth.
