But doesn't it get dark in the house when it snows? Why have skylights in our kitchen and it seems so strange when they are covered in snow - sort of "muffled" light!real home. We have a glass solarium (wonderful for making lace in), plenty of windows, a large skylight, and very solid concrete walls.
