When I was grouting the shower last week I thought to myself that
the Queen must miss out on all that kind of fun, having others to do

I have arranged for my decorator (DD's FIL) to come in whilst we are
away in Durham for Lace Guild convention.
True I'll have to spend the day before we go taking books of the
shelves and crockery out of the sideboard so that he can move the
furniture to paint behind it, and the day we get home putting it all
back but I won't have to live with the mess. Hope I don't choke on the
accumulated dust!
Meanwhile I have two pairs of full length curtains (drapes) to make.
