Thanks, everyone who told me about WD-40. It does sound very useful. Now that I think of it, someone did send me an e-mail years ago: "If it moves and it shouldn't, use duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40." I think she recommended duct tape for my DS, although this morning, after the time change, I think WD-40 would be more appropriate.
