Forgot to add this to my previous gentle reminders list: Please don't send the same message to both lace and lace-chat. Lace is for anything related to lace. Lace-chat is for everything else. So lace is fine for stories about your cat knocking over your lace-pillow but not for a discussion about your cat's vaccinations. Lace is fine if you're looking for a lacemaker and can't find a current address or if you want to comment on a lace-related eBay auction or a lace-related painting. Lace-chat should be used for jokes, non-lace topics.
If a lace-related topic veers into chat, then please change it to lace-chat and only post it there. Things get very confusing when the same thread is sent to both lists.
