When I was a teenager, a Polish friend of my mother used to do amazing
paper cuttings of roosters, flowers, etc., from magazine pages. She
did the traditional kind (sorry, can't think of the term and certainly
can't spell it without checking) where different coloured papers are
layered. I remember her son pointing to an amazing chrysanthemum paper
cutting and telling me, "That used to be a picture of meatloaf." From
Hamburger Helper to art.....
