A short story ... my very young daughter thought we should have spa day for Mother's Day, so she rubbed a facial mask on me, and placed cucumbers on my eyes. Lying there visiting with her (she was 5 yo. then), I noted that the cucumbers must be very juicy, as I had to keep wiping my face. When removed and looking in the mirror, I was obviously allergic, as my eyes were nearly swollen shut, and very much expanded ... the antithesis of desired effect. It makes me smile now, but I couldn't go out in public for days. End of my little cucumber story. Susan Reishus
