Sympathies to Agnes and hope she heals well and quickly. I broke a bone in one foot and sprained the other one 8 weeks ago and am just beginning to manage without the crutches (though still wearing this weird boot most of the time) and haven't had chance to make any lace in that time and am now chaffing at the bit to begin again. I did start winding bobbins the other evening ready to work one of my small pieces by special request of my Son, hopefully it will get me going again, though I will need to use the white tablemate rather than the pillow stand proper, because of my feet. I cant believe it is taking this long, but I have used the time reasonably well I suppose doing lots of knitting after many years gap. I know that lots of you have been on holiday or lace events, so I hope you are busy working and learning, interested to know what everyone current project is.

Just to let you all know that Agnes fell yesterday and broke her left
wrist (fortunately she is right-handed). She had it set late last
night and is back at the fracture clinic today to have the pot put
on. I'm sure she'll appreciate your best wishes. No lace-making for
her for a few weeks.
Regards
Sue.
