I've just read a report about a Christmas tree thief in Yorkshire where the police caught him by following the trail of pine needles (from 5 trees) to a garden half a mile away! To add icing to the cake they found a cannabis farm in his house. That's one man who isn't going to have a happy time over Christmas but I imagine the police are chortling.
