England can have some daft names too. Back in the 19th century just a stone's throw from where I Iive there were three generations of the DAY family (father son and his nephew) who rejoiced, or otherwise, in the given names 'Time Of'.
I work on reception in a local hospital ED so I get to see all sorts of odd names and unusual spellings of regular names. Last week we had a Mr James James, but my favourite so far was a little girl called Ciabatta. When asked the parents said "we don't know what it means but we liked it."
