This came from my son.
It's fake though.  A 6V lantern battery just has four large 1.5V cells in it.

Dear Friends,

I just saw an amazing video clip on youtube which explained how 
inside one of those large 6 volt torch batteries, which you can buy 
for around $5, there are 32 AA size batteries. All you need to do is 
prize the top off and cut the wires and out they fall.

This could save a lot of money if you get through AA batteries.
