origins in the labour movements of early last century, as in 8 hours work, 8
hours leisure and 8 hours sleep.

Subject: [lace-chat] Eight Hours Day

Hi All, My calendar says Eight Hours Day is celebrated on March 10 in
Tasmania. I'm very intrigued by the name. Will someone enlighten me
please?
