In general, for those on the Mac OsX platform I would suggest using Internet Explorer or Mozilla at the moment and adopting Safari (if you want to) when the 'final' version comes out.
The Lace Guild site is beautiful in the current (v.74) beta of Safari. While Safari is technically a beta, it's extremely stable, is faster than IE or Netscape and has some really neat features. For those on Macs running OS-X.2, I'd suggest giving the current version of Safari a try. In the past several months, I can't think of a single site that I haven't been able to access with Safari.
