Hi Marcie, I think its mostly the perspective - but from what I can see, the tension in the lace isn't all that crash hot, which could mean that the lace shrank a bit after the pins were taken out...after all lace *does* shrink when the pins are removed anyway, and in my experience, poor tension makes the problem worse.
