I don't think anyone has mentioned an American man who tats, Dan Rush-Fischer He designs beautiful patterns and has a web site: www.tribbler.com/tatman/ When he lived in California, he won the tatting prizes at the county fairs. the large round doily that pops up when you open his site, is not his design, but was worked by him and is presently on display at The Lace Museum in Sunnyvale.
