Dear Lace friends, I went away for a week, to my hometown, and made the Romanian flower motif from Angela's lovely new book. It is in crochet cotton #40, in cream and shaded brown, which came out to a diameter of 5 and a half inches. The filling tension probably needs to be looser and I need to work more on the woven bars & spiders, but on the whole, I am quite pleased with my first Romanian Point Lace.
I loved making it. And I am glad that Angela is pleased with it, because I am so very happy so have learnt about Romanian Point Lace from her book !
