I bought this book on ebay a couple of months ago, and it is really a book of designs. The pictures are white lace on black pages, and many (if not most) are from old drawings. For the money, it isn't a bad thing to have, but it wasn't what I expected. It would be fun to play with some of these designs, if I ever had the time or inclination.
