A cheap way to own a 'loom' with many arms is to buy a wheel of straight pins with coloured heads. (I don't know what it's really called, but some brands of coloured plastic/glass headed pins come stuck into a plastic wheel.) It works really well, especially when you remove your work. You just have to remove the pins and the work drops off. Mine has 40 pins, so that means 40 'arms'. You can see a picture of a similar product by going to:
