I think there is a slight difference between Battenberg lace and Branscombe. Branscombe has a wider variety of fillings, and has picots on the bars. It also has a distinctive needlelace edge - a shell stitch (like the 16th stitch in the DMC Encyclopaedia of Needlework, by de Dillmont.)
I think this is right - but I am open to correction!!! from Liz in Melbourne, Oz, [EMAIL PROTECTED] - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
