For all the Oz lacemakers and book enthusiasts:-

DD sent me a Dymocks book voucher for Birthday/Mothers' Day (Beauty!!!), and
after reading about the Lace from the V & A Museum, I knew it was Just the
book I wanted, so went into my local branch of Dymocks this morning and
asked if they can get if for me. I had checked out their web site, and
found another book (?on the V & A embroidery) by the same author.

She will ring me in a couple of days to let me know if/when they can get it.
They get books in regularly, so it should not be a problem. Perhaps if
others also ask at their local branch they will realize there are a lot of
us lacemakers out there!!!
I was able to give her 2 ISBN numbers - one from the V & A website, and one
from the List , which is, I think, a US ISBN number.

I will let you know if I hear anything more.

And what a beautiful piece of lace on the cover of the book!

from Liz in Melbourne, Oz, where the sunn is peeking out between the
clouds, to take some of the chill out of the air!
